Does the language of your existing templates in Handshake ever grow stale or expire? This resource provides the steps to update your existing templates without having to start from scratch.
Access templates
1. Click Campaigns from the left navigation bar, then click the blue button Create campaign in the top-right corner of the page.
Note: while you won't be setting up a campaign, you can only view and edit your template in the Message section of the campaign form.
2. In the pop-up modal, choose a campaign type.
Tip: we recommend selecting the campaign type 'Other". If you choose the campaign type 'Job', the UI will not match the images in this article.
3. On the campaign's Details page, add a Campaign Name, then click the blue button Continue in the lower-right corner of the page.
Edit template
1. In the Message section, click the blue hyperlinked text Insert Template, located above the text box in the top-right corner.
2. In the pop-up modal, select the template that you want to edit, then click the green button Add.
3. Once added, the template will appear in the message text box. Edit the message as desired, then click the hyperlinked text Save Template.
4. In the pop-up modal, select to either save the message as a new template or save the changes to the existing template.
- If you want to save the message as a new template, enter the name of the template in the Name field.
