School Settings: How to Set a Default Expiration date on Job Postings

If you would like to set a default expiration date on jobs posted to your university follow these instructions (career services staff and employers can always modify the expiration dates on specific job postings):
  1. Click Job Preferences
  2. Pick a number of days after which the job posted to your university should expire and enter it in the Default Expiration Timeframe
  3. Click Save
Handshake recommends that you set the default expiration date to 60 days in the future. Career services staff and employers can always modify the expiration dates on specific job postings.
