Note: These instructions are to help employers update a company’s email address on Handshake.
To change your company’s contact email address:
- From any page in Handshake, click on your name (or Employer) in the upper right hand corner to make the account options menu appear.
- Select Company Settings from the account options menu.
- You’ll be taken to the Edit tab of the Company Details Page. Scroll down to the Email field and replace the existing email address with the new address you’d like to use.
- We recommend that this is a company email address and that your personal email address is used in your individual staff account
- Scroll down and click the Update Employer button.
- The company “Overview” page will appear and you’ll see a message indicating that your change was successful.
To check your work or make additional edits to the company details, click the “Edit” tab in the upper right hand corner of your screen.
