To fully access all of your school’s content and services on Handshake, you’ll need to be connected to your school's instance in Handshake.
After confirming your email address, if you only have access to the Events section on the left navigation bar, this indicates that your Handshake profile is not yet linked to your school.
On the homepage, there may be a message in a gray-shaded block that reads:
"Hang tight while [SCHOOL NAME] approves your account. You should get a confirmation email within a few days, then you can start using Handshake. If you don't get an update, contact your school at: [EMAIL ADDRESS]."
Use the email address listed within the message to get in touch with your school's Career Services center for more information on the pending request.
If there is no contact information listed on the homepage, you can either reach out to your school's Career Services center as you normally would, or submit a ticket to our Support Team to request more information.
