Thank you for your interest in becoming a MOVE Fellow! We’re excited that you want to help shape the future of AI while growing your skills and career. The MOVE Fellowship is a competitive program, and your application is now under review.
What Happens After You Apply
Our goal is to match the right candidates with the right projects. Each project is different, so the process may vary based on the type of work, your experience, and your field of study.
If you meet our eligibility criteria and match the needs of one of our current or upcoming projects, someone from our team will reach out.
While completing the onboarding project is required to be eligible for future paid projects, selection is not guaranteed. Future placement depends on the quality of a participant’s work, as we maintain high standards to meet partner lab requirements. The program operates similarly to a competitive research position, strong effort and performance are key to continued engagement.
What Should I Do in the Meantime?
There’s nothing else you need to do right now. If you're selected to move forward, we’ll reach out directly.
In the meantime, you’re welcome to:
- Review your resume or academic portfolio in case it’s helpful in future conversations—if you see anything that needs to be updated on your application or resume, contact us to share your updates.
- Familiarize yourself with common LLM challenges in your area of expertise. For more information on this, check out Illustrating Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF)
- Keep an eye on your email for updates
We review applications on a rolling basis, so the timing of outreach may vary depending on our active project needs.
Our MOVE program is growing and we’re fortunate to receive a large number of strong applications. If you don’t hear from us right away, it doesn’t necessarily mean your application has been declined—we may simply not have a project that matches your background at the moment.
Thanks again for your interest. We truly appreciate the time and effort you put into your application.
