Ready to join the MOVE Program? Follow the steps below to submit your application!

1. Go to https://ai.joinhandshake.com/get-started
2. click Get Started to begin the application.
3. Create an account by selecting Continue with email. This login is different from Handshake.
4. Confirm your email then click Continue.
5. A verification code is sent to your inbox to confirm your account. Go to your inbox to locate the verification code and enter it into the provided space.
Note: The verification code is valid for 15 minutes.
Not receiving your Confirmation email? Check your spam, junk, or promotions folders. Also make sure you're checking the same email you used to apply for the program.
6. Enter your first and last name in the provided spaces then click Continue.
7. Before you begin, complete your profile by selecting your state from the dropdown menu and confirming your last name, then click Update Profile to proceed.
8. Begin the assessment and application process by selecting the radio button next to Assessment.
9. Upload your résumé, CV (Curriculum Vitae), or both by selecting the file from your computer or by using the drag-and-drop feature.
Once uploaded, a message that states resume successfully uploaded is displayed.
Click Next to proceed, or select Upload different file to remove the current one and start over.
10. Enter your personal information:
- First Name (Legal)
- Last Name (Legal)
- Secondary Email
- Where do you live?
- Select your state (Dropdown)
- Are you authorized to work in the United States? (Yes/No)
Not located in the US? At this time applicants are required to be based in the US and have US work authorization. To learn more about eligibility requirements, refer to Fellowship Work Authorization Eligibility.
Once entered then click Next to proceed or Back to go go back.
11. Enter your Education Details:
- Highest level of education (Dropdown)
- Are you currently pursuing this education? (Yes/No)
- Undergraduate university
- Type your school’s name into the text box, then select it from the list if it appears. If it’s not listed, you'll have the option to add it.
- Core area of study (Dropdown)
- Subdomain expertise (Optional)
- Share your work (Published work, Github, or other relevant links)
- To add more links, click Add another link.
Once entered then click Next to proceed or Back to go go back.
12. Enter your Languages & Availability:
- Are you available 10-15 hours per week for remote work? (Yes/No/Maybe)
- What languages do you speak (in addition to English)? (Dropdown)
- Select a language
- Select proficiency

Once everything is entered click Submit to complete your application process!
