Handshake emails are sent from addresses ending in:

- notifications.joinhandshake.com
- mail.joinhandshake.com
- m.joinhandshake.com
- g.joinhandshake.com
- cm.joinhandshake.com
- m.ai.joinhandshake.com
- ai.joinhandshake.com
April 22, 2026 update: our team rolled out a domain change, so ticket responses will only be sent from addresses ending in "ai.joinhandshake.com" or "joinhandshake.com".
- If you requested a support ticket prior to April 22nd, past email responses may have been sent from an address ending in joinhandshakeai.zendesk.com – this was the only distinctly different and valid domain Handshake used.
May 4, 2026 update: we've rolled out optional SMS updates, however, Handshake will only send text updates if you have opted in to receiving texts from us.
- If you have not yet opted in to receiving Handshake text updates, then you will not receive informational or promotional text updates from us.

Other types of communication
Any email, message, account, or post claiming to be from "Handshake Support” or “the Handshake Team” outside of the official channels outlined above should be treated as fraudulent.
- Handshake does not use in-app messages or feed posts to share important account information.
- Handshake does not send voice notes, Whatsapp messages or any other SMS-based communication to your personal phone.

How to protect yourself
- Don’t click suspicious links or download unexpected files
- Never share sensitive information through messages or email
- Don't respond to any emails or messages, or complete any forms
- If something feels off, pause and double-check, look at the email domain carefully. Scammers like to use emails that can at first glance look legitimate, like joinhandhsake.com, joinhandshake.net, or joinhandshake-careers.com
- The joinhandshake.com domain may appear on it's own or as variable.joinhandshake.com, but should always follow this format and match one of the recognized domains listed above!
