Each institution manages its own approvals on Handshake, so if you requested to connect with the wrong institution, here’s how to get things sorted:

If the institution you requested to connect with hasn't approved your request:
- Contact the career services centre at the correct institution (the one you’re actually affiliated with). Let them know you need to connect with their Handshake account and include your Handshake account email address to speed things up. Once they verify your student or alumni status, they can approve and connect you to their institution’s Handshake instance.

If the institution you requested to connect with has approved your request:
- Reach out to the career services centre at your correct institution, and let them know you were mistakenly added to a different institution on Handshake. Include your email address associated with your Handshake account. They’ll then contact our Support team to have your account moved to the correct institution on the backend.
