Your Handshake Brand page helps you build your employer brand and attract the right talent. Use it to deliver a tailored narrative that showcases your company’s culture, values, people, and opportunities for early talent.
Features available to Premium partners only are indicated by an asterisk (*). For more information, please check out this resource.
Important notes:
- Your brand page is only visible to early talent with active Handshake accounts unless you enable the "Allow public pages (SEO)" setting in your company settings. Verify your Company Settings: Global Settings.
- Your profile is private and cannot be accessed by other employers on Handshake. Only candidates, career services, and teammates connected to your company will be able to view it.
- Only the account owner or admin can customise the brand page and edit the company settings. For more details, refer to How to Edit Your Company Profile Settings.
To access your brand page, click Brand page from the left navigation bar in Handshake.
The Overview tab includes customisable sections to showcase your brand. Click each header below to learn how to personalise them.
(*Banner), Logo & Company Details
Edit company details
To edit your company details, click the pencil icon to the right of your company name.
The following fields can be edited:
- Industry
- Company size
- Company type
- Contact email
- URL
The following fields can only be updated by Handshake support:
- Name

Location

When you are finished, click the black button Save in the lower-right corner.
Edit logo and banner
- Basic employers are unable to add or customise their banner. The banner will display a grey background.
- Premium partners can add and customise their banners.

About
To edit your company description, click the pencil icon to the right of the About section.
In the pop-up modal, provide a brief overview of who your company is and what it does. Keeping it short and sweet is best to ensure it captures the reader's attention quickly.
Note: the character limit is 400.
When you are finished, click the black button Save.
Work life
To edit your company's work life, click the pencil icon to the right of the Work life section.
Note: if left blank, this section won’t appear on your page.
In the pop-up modal, enter a description that highlights your company’s benefits, perks, and workplace culture.
Note: the character limit is 400.
You can select specific benefits from the available radio button options, and add any additional benefits in the "Additional benefits" field.
When you are finished, click the black button Save in the lower-right corner.
*Testimonials
To manage your employee testimonial on your brand page, click the pencil icon to the right of the Testimonials section.
Create testimonial
To create a new testimonial, click the text Create testimonial in the lower-left corner.
Note: there is no limit to the number of testimonials you can include.
In the pop-up modal, enter the following fields:
- First name
- Last name
- Role
- Institution name
- Course (optional)
- Graduation year (optional)

Testimonial
- The character limit is 250.

Photo (optional)
- A headshot of the person.
- The face should be centred (preferably a square or portrait photo).
- The file size should be under 20MB.
Edit testimonial
To edit an employee testimonial, click the pencil icon to the right of the employee's name.
In the pop-up modal, edit the necessary fields, then click the black button Save in the lower-right corner.
Delete testimonial
To delete an existing testimonial, click the red bin icon to the right of the employee's name.
Note: clicking the bin icon will immediately delete the testimonial, and this action cannot be undone.
*People
To choose which teammates appear on your brand page, click the pencil icon to the right of the People section. You can add up to 4 people.
Note: Basic employers cannot add teammates or customise this section.
- If this section is not customised at all or if your account type does not allow customisation, it will display up to four relevant individuals based on the visitor's interactions.
- If you add fewer than 4 people, the remaining slots will be filled with other relevant individuals for each visitor, such as teammates who have messaged the student viewing the brand page, advocates, or teammates who have recently messaged other students.
In the pop-up modal, select the teammate you want to highlight, or type in their name to search. When you have selected your teammates, click the black button Save.
- To change the order in which teammates appear on your brand page, click the up or down arrows next to each team member's name.
- To remove a teammate, click the red bin icon to the right of their name.
*Gallery
To manage the visual content on your brand page, click the pencil icon to the right of the Gallery section. To view guided steps, refer to Manage your Brand Page Gallery.
Note: the Jobs and Events sections on your brand page cannot be customised or edited.
*Premium partners may have access to the following exclusive features, depending on their brand page tier and added modules, enabling them to further customise and enhance their brand.
*Subpages
Premium partners can enrich their brand page by adding up to six subpages. These subpages provide students with an in-depth view of specific teams, departments, or programs within the company. Learn more about Branding your Subpages.
Posts
Premium partners with a Professional or Advanced Brand page can feature up to two posts on their main Brand Page.
Additionally, Premium partners with an Advanced Brand Page may feature up to two posts on each of their subpages.
There are currently two ways to find a post to feature:
- Finding a post within your Brand page: Navigate to the Posts tab on your Brand page and locate the post you want to feature.
- Finding a post within a specific user’s profile: Navigate to the user’s profile (your own or a teammate’s), click the Posts tab, and locate the post you want to feature.
To feature a post on your Brand page or a subpage:
- Click the ellipsis icon in the upper-right corner of the post.
- Check the box for "Brand page" to feature it on your main Brand page.
- If you have an Advanced Brand page, you can also check the box for the desired subpage to feature the post there.
*Affiliated employers
Affiliated employers show the relationship between your brand and other companies within Handshake. This feature includes a list of related brands that students can follow or explore to learn more.
Note: this feature is currently only available to premium partners (TES).
To set this up, reach out to your account team or Handshake Support.
- Your brand page displays up to 6 affiliated employers.
- If there are more than 6 affiliated employers, the text More displays below the list. Click More to view all affiliated employers.
Note: if left blank, this section won't appear on your page.
Students viewing your brand page can:
- View up to 6 affiliated employers, with the option to click 'More' to view all affiliated employers.
- Click to view each affiliated employer's brand page, which includes their jobs and posts.
- Choose to follow the affiliated employers.
Display order
To change the display order of affiliated employers, click the pencil icon next to the section title, then use the up or down arrows beside each employer to adjust their position.
Note: your parent company(ies) always displays on top.
