Handshake allows you to receive notifications about various activities in our system in two formats: in-app notifications and emails. In-app notifications are accessible by clicking on the globe icon at the top of your Handshake dashboard.
Email notifications will be sent directly to the email address associated with your account. You can choose to receive one, both, or neither type of notification for a variety of events. To access these settings...
- Click on your name in the upper right corner of your Handshake dashboard.
- Select User Settings from the dropdown menu.
- Select Notification Preferences from the list of options near the left side of the screen.
You'll be taken to a page where you can set your preferences. If a career services user does not actively change their notification preferences after logging into their account, these are the default preferences that will be saved:
