This article includes common reports based on Career Interests, organized by Handshake! You can click these links and they will show you the results for your school.
Please note: you will need both Analytics: Access and Manage in order to access these reports. If you do not have these roles, please reach out to your Career Services internal point of contact to request access.
Reminder: Analytics data will uploads each night and is available for reporting the following day.
Saved reports
After clicking the below links, to further customize the report for your school, click Duplicate Report in the upper-right corner of the screen. After duplicating, add any additional desired filters to better scope results. Remember to save your newly created custom report when you're finished, if you'd like to use it later!
Career Interests - Personal Goals: personal goals count per school year (Use this to see what most students are interested in using Handshake for!)
Career Interests - Job Function: job functions count per major (Break this down by school year as well to see what job functions seniors are interested in, and check out the approved jobs on campus for each industry report linked in the legacy reports section –– are there any industries that your students are interested in that are not represented?)

Career Interests - Top States: top states per school year
Career Interests - Location Heatmap: locations based on longitude and latitude

Reports using legacy reporting links
The below reports were built using our legacy reporting system, so they are not saved in Handshake. If you'd like to save the report, click Save Report in the upper-right corner, then fill out the Report Name (title the same as we did in this article if you like!), Description (optional), and Sharing settings.
Count of jobs posted by function: check out this report as a followup for job function interests to see which industries are doing well and which could use more representation on campus!
Industry interests: count of students per industry. Compare this to the industries of your active job postings and employer approvals (industry is not null)
Location interests: Compare this to the Jobs posted by location
Post graduation goals: includes "null" value count, which indicates students did not select an option.
Post graduation goals: excludes "null" values, so you'll only see results for students that selected an option. Tip: Filter this to school year of Senior and compare it to your first destination results!
