Knowledge rate
The knowledge rate provides your overall progress towards collecting a known outcome for each student, regardless of response type.
Survey response rate
The survey response rate provides feedback on how well your survey collection efforts are performing. This provides the percentage of students that have submitted a response to your survey. If a student responded to the survey, but a knowledge response has replaced their Primary response, the student's survey response will still count towards the survey response rate.
Note: If you are displaying "All graduation groups" the denominator in the above formulas would instead be Total number of students in all graduation groups.
Filters
The filters at the top of the table include the following:
- Needs attention: This will return all recipients that have not yet submitted a response, or have responded with "Still looking"
- Status: Choose between submitted and unsubmitted responses
- Major
If you select the Filters button, there are more options to choose from. The following are commonly used filters for First Destination Surveys:

- How do I add students?

- Where is the option to download all First Destination Data?
- If you check the boxes next to the students' names using the table, you can use the More option to locate the Download button to download the data for the selected students.

- Why can't I view email data for "All graduation groups"?
- Email campaigns are unique to each graduation group. Select a graduation group to view the specific outreach schedule.
- Why is there missing data before May 10th, 2018?
- Handshake started tracking this data after May 10th so you will see limited date for open rates and click through rates before then. We are sorry about the inconvenience.
- When I choose a graduation group does it update the list of students shown?
- Yes, the list of students is only for the selected Graduation Group, select All Students if you would like to see all students.
