How to use this article:

This article houses content, talk tracks, and Handshake workflow recommendations that you can leverage for regional meetups. We've divided the content into strategic areas - keeping it easy for you to explore for any presentations or agendas you build.

First Destination Survey (FDS):

Core Message:

  • Handshake strives for all partner schools to leverage the First Destination Survey tool in Handshake.
  • If there are existing reasons you do not plan to use FDS, please reach out to your Handshake Relationship Manager to share details. Our Product team is considering lightweight updates in the near future - so we are happy to elevate your feedback prior to those updates.

High level data points:

  • About 50% of schools used FDS last year
  • In 2017, 76% of schools who used FDS surpassed their historical outcome collection rate (stay tuned- we're still gathering responses from the 2018 collection year!)
  • We released several new features that contributed to increased response rates:

Engaging Campus Partners:

Core Message:

  • Handshake will be testing email templates using the new targeted email tool in the next few months to activate campus partners, if you want to be a part of that early pilot, reach out to your Relationship Manager. First step is to start importing faculty if you aren’t already. This will serve as great research and learnings on how to activate your campus partners.
