Handshake does not permit employers from discriminating against students based on ethnicity, national origin, religion, age, gender, sexual orientation or veteran status, pursuant to Title IX. Similar to the EEOC’s application of Title VII, employers may state a religious preference if their purpose and character is primarily religious (i.e. a ministry).
