Managing Primary Education

Your Primary Education is intended to represent the institution you're currently affiliated with. This is the institution that you can schedule appointments with, attend fairs and fairs at, view approved jobs, etc.

You can add as many institutions to your Handshake profile as needed, but can only have one Primary Education.

On the new student profile in Handshake, your Primary Education is the first institution listed under the Education section. Your primary education is identified with a grey badge that states Primary.

If you need to update your Primary Education on your profile, you'll need to submit a ticket to Handshake's Support Team. This is because the institution will need to approve your affiliation before being added. To submit a ticket, click the following link: submit a ticket.

 

To update the Education information on your profile (course, module etc.), refer to How to Edit Education Information on Your Profile.

To add or edit the summary/bio on your profile, refer to How to Edit the Summary on Your Profile.

To update your personal information (name, pronouns, location) within the header of your profile, refer to Update Personal Information on Your Profile.
