You can edit the bio within your Summary section of your profile at any time!
The Summary section offers you the opportunity to highlight your skills and include any additional information that you'd like to share with employers and/or peers!
If you've never added a Summary to your profile, refer to Completing your Profile in Handshake.
1. Click your account icon in the upper-right corner of Handshake, then click My Profile from the dropdown.
2. Click the pencil icon, located to the right of Summary.
3. Within the pop-up, start typing 1 - 2 sentences in the available textbox.
Note: you can add up to 300 characters of text.
🚀Tip: as you begin to add a summary, a tone selector tool is displayed to help you modify and/or enhance your bio. Slide the tone selector to the right for a more formal approach, or to the left for a friendly one! Not sure what to add? Here are some potential topics: What are you passionate about? What are you looking for on Handshake? What are your experiences or skills?
4. Once complete, click the button Save in the lower-right corner to update or the button Cancel to cancel!
