Permissions
To use this feature, your account must have one of the following roles:
- Recruiter (Advanced)
- Recruiter (Sourcer)
- Owner
- Administrator
If you lack access, contact your company’s Owner or Admin to request a role change or additional permissions. For more information, refer to Who is the Owner of my Company's Profile?.
Teammate requirements
- Must have one of these roles: Advocate, Recruiter (Sourcer), Recruiter (Advanced), or Admin.
- Must be enabled to send and receive messages from candidates, even without a Handshake profile.
Attach (introduce) a teammate
1. Click Talent from the left navigation bar. A teammate can be introduced in either a 1:1 or bulk message.
- To introduce a teammate to many students, check the box to the left of Candidate in the header bar, then click the white button Message above the header.
- To introduce a teammate to a specific student, click the white button Message located on the far right of their row.
2. The message text box will appear. Draft your message, then click the Handshake icon in the lower-left corner of the message box, and select Teammate.
- At the bottom of the message box, you can find options to format your message, insert web links, and access additional tools like templates and variables to personalise and enhance your communication.
3. In the pop-up modal, choose a teammate from the dropdown menu and click the black button Attach. The teammate will appear as an attachment below the message text box
4. Review your message carefully. When ready, click the black button Send.
5. Students will receive the message and can choose to respond to either you or your teammate.
