Handshake includes a company setting that allows employers to manage whether their company profile can appear on public pages.
Note: Only the owner or an admin on a company profile can manage whether public pages are allowed for their company.
Turning this setting on does not guarantee that a company page will appear publicly in search engine results. Public visibility depends on additional product conditions, and availability may vary by employer.
If you have questions about whether your company has a public page on Handshake, contact Support.
Background
To support access to career information, Handshake offers settings that affect whether company profile content may be available outside Handshake.
To protect students' privacy, student profile photos, names, and schools are hidden on external pages. Only limited student information may be shown outside Handshake.
Manage your company's SEO settings
1. Click on your name in the upper-right corner of any page, then select Company Settings from the dropdown.
2. In the left menu, select Global Settings, then uncheck the option for Allow public pages (SEO) in the Other preferences section.
3. When you are finished, click the black Save button.
