By default, new users are assigned the Recruiter (Standard) role when they connect with a company profile, unless the employer assigns them a different role.
Recruiter (Standard) users can manage events, career fairs, jobs, applicants, and on-campus interviews. They can also message candidates.
We recommend this role for recruiters, recruiting coordinators, and third-party partners who primarily post jobs or events.
This role is available on all company profiles in Handshake, with no limit on the number of Recruiter (Standard) seats a company can have.
- The default permission set represents the level of permissions or access granted to users with a free or unpaid seat. This default setting applies to all employer users in that role.
- If you are connected to a premium employer account and you do not have the level of permissions described, reach out to the company owner to inquire further.
Premium partners can configure most permissions and have additional permission options, depending on the selected modules. Some modules include non-configurable permissions, as detailed below.
