Handshake Event Types and When to Use Each

There are various event types that allow you to interact with students on Handshake. This resource will guide you on when to use each type of event.

Features available only to Premium partners are indicated by an asterisk(*). For more information, please check out this resource.

Career Fair - Handshake Hosted 

When your company wants to register for a career fair hosted on Handshake. 

Note: Handshake-hosted fairs can range up to 6 hours. The hosting school sets the time duration.
  • Sessions conducted via Handshake video or via the employer’s own video conferencing software.
  • Conduct 1-on-1 meetings and  group information sessions.
  • Up to 100 employee representatives.
