Send a message to students, inviting them to attend and event hosted by your team or a career fair that you have registered for, so that they can learn more about your company and what it has to offer.

Access Talent list
Click Talent from the left navigation bar. Explore A Guide to Talent List.
Invite students
- To invite specific students, click the white button Message to the far right of the student(s) name.
- To select all students, check the box to the left of Candidate above the student table.
2. The message text box will appear. Draft your message, then click the Handshake icon in the lower-left corner of the message box and select Event or Career Fair.
Notes:
- Basic employers: If you choose Event, recipients must have a Handshake profile with an institution that has approved your employer and event.
- Premium employers: Recipients must have an active Handshake profile associated with an institution that has approved your employer.
- Career Fair: Recipients must have an active Handshake profile associated with the institution hosting the fair.
3. In the pop-up modal, select the relevant event or career fair from the dropdown menu, then click the black button Attach. The event or career fair will be displayed as an attachment at the bottom of the message text box.
- *Premium partners can add a teammate to their messages for added personalisation. Learn more in Messaging Students: Attach a Team member.
4. Review your message carefully. When ready, click the black button Send.
5. After sending, the message box will close, and the confirmation message " [# of] message sent" will display in a black banner at the top of the page.
Students will receive the message and can register for the event or career fair if they are interested.
