Congrats, you've been chosen by an employer to interview for a job at your institution! To confirm your interview, you will need to log into your Handshake account and choose a time slot.
The interview schedule was created in partnership with your institution's career service centre and employer. If you have any questions regarding the interviews date or times, please reach out to your career service centre.

Selecting your on-campus interview time
Once you've been chosen by an employer for an on-campus interview, you'll receive a notification in Handshake to select your time slot.
You can select your interview time directly from the notification OR by following the steps below:
1. Click on your account icon in the upper-right corner of the screen, then click My Meetings from the dropdown.
2. Click On-Campus Interviews.
3. Click the interview you have been invited to.
4. A list of allotted and available times for the interview schedule will be displayed.
5. Once you have chosen a time, click the Take Slot button on the far right side of the page to confirm your slot.
Best Practices: To receive notifications in Handshake, ensure your Default Notification Preferences for interviews is enabled. You can always update this by Managing Your Notification Preferences in Handshake at any time!
Changing your on-campus interview time
If you need to change your interview time slot, you can do so, as long as there is another open time slot available. To do this, locate the interview schedule page:
1. Click on your account icon in the upper-right corner of the screen, then click My Meetings from the dropdown
2. Click On-Campus Interviews.
3. Click the interview you would like to change the time slot on.
4. The interview schedule page will now load.
5. To the right of your previously chosen time, click the Leave Slot button.
If another applicant has taken the time slot you need, you can request to swap slots with them. This is done by clicking the Request Swap button to the right of the time you would like.
Staff members at your institution who are working with the interview schedule will receive a notification that you requested a swap and can even perform the swap themselves if needed.
The other student will also get a notification in Handshake that someone is requesting to swap slots and will be given directions on how to decline the request, or complete the swap.
Note: Once the signup period has ended for an interview schedule, the schedule will be locked and you will not be able to take a slot, leave a slot, or make any other changes on your own. Please reach out to your Career Service Centre and ask for assistance.
