After employers register for a virtual fair, a series of notification emails are sent to the employer automatically. All emails are sent from "mailer@joinhandshake.co.uk" or "handshake@notifications.joinhandshake.co.uk". Employers who have not registered for the virtual fair will not receive these emails.

This email is sent to fair registrants within 1 week of registering for their first virtual fair.
Registration approved, create a schedule
This email is sent to Schedule Owners once the registration is approved for a virtual fair and prompts them to create a schedule.
Create a schedule: 3 week reminder
This reminder email is sent to schedule owners who haven’t created their schedule, 3 weeks prior to the virtual fair.
Create a schedule: 2 week reminder
This reminder email is sent to schedule owners who haven’t created their schedule, 2 weeks prior to the virtual fair.
Create a schedule: 1 week reminder
This reminder email is sent to schedule owners who haven’t created their schedule, 1 week prior to the virtual fair.

This reminder email is sent to schedule owners who haven’t created their schedule, 1 day prior to the virtual fair.
“Claim your schedule” email
This email is sent to all employer teammates who have been added to Group AND/OR 1:1 Sessions and is sent upon schedule being created successfully.
Student registration open - Create your schedule
This email is sent to schedule owners who haven't created a schedule 48 hrs before student registration opens for their virtual fair.
Student registration open - Browse students
This email is sent to fair registrants within 3 days of student registration opening for their virtual fair.
Virtual fair checklist (1 week pre-fair)
This email is sent to fair registrants 1 week before their next virtual fair.
Video test reminder email
This email is sent to fair registrants 4-5 days before their next virtual fair.
Qualifications paused (3 days prior to fair)
This email is sent to 1:1 session hosts with open sessions, notifying them that qualifications will be paused in 24 hrs.
Day before email
This email is sent to all participating employer users the 1 day before their virtual fair.
