Unsubscribe from Handshake Emails

Emails sent via Handshake are used for transactional tasks, such as password recovery, job application completions, and career fair registrations. They're also used for relationship building with employers as well as highlighting interesting jobs, upcoming events, and more from your school on Handshake. 
Handshake uses a variety of six different email domains in which these emails are sent:
  • joinhandshake.com
  • notifications.joinhandshake.com
  • mail.joinhandshake.com
  • m.joinhandshake.com
  • g.joinhandshake.com
  • cm.joinhandshake.com

If you are wanting to unsubscribe from a particular set of emails, we recommend updating your Notification Preferences in Handshake. This will ensure you don't miss out on anything important! 

To update your Notification Preferences in Handshake, refer to Managing Your Notification Preferences. 

Alternatively, if you wish to re-subscribe to Handshake email, reach out to our Support Team for assistance by submitting a ticket.

 

Unsubscribe to Emails via Your Inbox

Handshake offers you the option to unsubscribe from emails directly via your inbox. To do this, scroll to the bottom of the email you wish to unsubscribe from, then click the blue link unsubscribe.

You'll need to confirm your unsubscribe by clicking unsubscribe in the tab that opens.

Unsubscribing to an email will unsubscribe you from all the emails sent from that particular domain. It will not unsubscribe you from all emails sent via Handshake.

If you don't wish to unsubscribe from all emails sent from a particular domain, you'll want to update your Notification Preferences instead. Click the blue link sign in, located at the bottom of the email to be directed to your Handshake account, then update your preferences from there!
