Sharing jobs helps fellow students discover opportunities they might not have found on their own, strengthens your network, and sharing works both ways. Your peers may return the favor and share great opportunities with you.
This article explains how to share a job posting on Handshake with other students and alumni.

Share a job
1. Click on the job to open the full posting.
2. Click the Share button at the top of the page, next to the Save button.
3. From the dropdown, select one of the following options:
- Copy link
- Share to...
- Send job to...
Copy link
Selecting Copy link copies the job link directly to your clipboard. A "Link copied!" confirmation will appear in the lower-left corner of the page. You can then paste the link anywhere you choose.
Share to
Selecting Share to... opens your device's share sheet, where you can share the job link via apps such as Mail, Messages, or AirDrop.
Send job to
Selecting Send job to... sends the job directly to another student or alumni through the Handshake Inbox.
1. Begin typing the name of the person you want to share the job with, then check the box next to their name. You can also select from the list of suggested contacts.
Note: You can only share job postings with other students at your institution.
2. Add a personal note about why you are sharing the job (optional).
3. Review your message and recipient, then click Send.
The recipient will receive the job posting in their Handshake Inbox as a private message, including your name, any personalized message you wrote, and a direct link to the job posting.
