Hide a Job on Handshake

To enhance your job search experience, you can hide jobs that aren't relevant to you or that you have no interest in.

The "Hide Job" feature gives you the opportunity to remove specific job postings from your search results. By hiding jobs, you improve the relevance of jobs displayed to you in the future.

This feature empowers you to customize and control your job search experience, making it more aligned with your career interests!

At the moment, this feature can only be accessed via a desktop.

Hide a job

1. Click Jobs on the left menu.

2. From the list displayed on the left side of the page, click the X icon, located to the right of the job you want to hide.

💡Note: to keep the process simple and quick, we do not ask why you chose to hide a job.

🚀Tip: if you think you'll want to access the job again, we recommend saving the job first. All jobs that you have saved can still be viewed through your saved jobs, even if you have chosen to hide the job. To learn more about saving jobs, check out My Saved Jobs in Handshake.

 

Unhide a job

If you choose to unhide a job, you'll have a short time frame to undo the action.

After hiding a job, a banner is displayed above the job — click the blue link Undo, located within the banner to restore the job.
