Your Handshake Brand Page helps you build your employer brand and attract the right talent. Use it to showcase your company's culture, values, people, and opportunities for early talent.
Features available to Essentials and Enterprise (formerly TES) customers only are indicated by an asterisk (*). For more information, please check out this resource.
Who can view and edit your Brand Page
- Only account owners or admins can customize the Brand page.
- Your Brand Page is only visible to early talent with active Handshake accounts unless you enable the "Allow public pages (SEO)" setting in your company settings.
- Brand Pages are viewable by candidates, career services, and other employers.
Access your Brand page
To access your brand page, click Brand page from the left navigation bar in Handshake.
Edit your banner, logo, and company details
The company header appears at the top of your Brand page, above the Overview, Jobs, and Posts tabs.
To edit it, click the pencil icon in the upper-right corner of the header.
The following fields can be edited:
- Industry
- Primary location
- Locations
- Company size
- Company type (optional)
- Contact email (optional)
- URL
To update your company name, contact Support.
When finished, click Save in the lower-right corner.

Customize your Overview tab
The Overview tab contains all customizable Brand page sections. Click each header below to learn how to personalize them.
About
Click the pencil icon to the right of the About section.
In the pop-up, provide a brief overview of who your company is and what it does. Keeping it short and sweet is best to ensure it captures the reader's attention quickly.
Note: The character limit is 2000.
When finished, click the black Save button in the lower-right corner.
Work life
Click the pencil icon to the right of the Work life section.
Note: If left blank, this section will not appear on your page.
In the pop-up, enter a description that highlights your specific benefits, perks, and workplace culture.
Note: The character limit is 2000.
- You can select specific benefits using the available radio button options, or add custom benefits in the Additional benefits field.
When finished, click the black Save button in the lower-right corner.
*Testimonials
The Testimonials section is only available to Essentials and Enterprise (formerly TES) customers with a Professional or Advanced Brand page.
To manage testimonials, click the pencil icon to the right of the Testimonials section.
Add a testimonial
To add a new testimonial, click Create testimonial.
Note: There is no limit to the number of testimonials you can add.
In the pop-up, enter the following fields:
- First name
- Last name
- Role
- School name
- Major (optional)
- Graduation year (optional)

Testimonial
- Note: The character limit is 250.

Photo (optional)
- Headshot under 20MB, square or portrait format preferred
When finished, click Create in the lower-right corner.
Edit testimonial
Click the pencil icon to the right of the employee's name.
In the pop-up, edit the necessary fields, then click Save in the lower-right corner.
Delete testimonial
Click the red bin icon to the right of the employee's name. This action is immediate and cannot be undone.
Jobs
The Jobs section always appears on your Brand page, even if you have no active jobs.
To feature specific jobs, click the pencil icon to the right of the Jobs section. You can highlight up to four jobs.
- Use the search field to find and add jobs by name or ID.
- Use the up or down arrows to change the display order.
- Click the red bin icon to remove a job.
Any unfilled slots are automatically populated with jobs relevant to each viewer.
When finished, click Save in the lower-right corner.
*People
The People section is only available to Essentials and Enterprise (formerly TES) customers with a Professional or Advanced Brand Page.
To manage which teammates appear on your Brand page, click the pencil icon to the right of the People section. You can add up to four people.
- Use the search field to find and add teammates by name.
- Use the up or down arrows to change the display order.
- Click the red bin icon to remove a teammate.
If this section is not customized, or if your account type does not allow customization, up to four relevant teammates will appear here.
The Automatically fill unused slots with people relevant to each viewer toggle is on by default.
- When enabled, any unfilled spots are populated automatically based on each student's interactions, such as teammates who have recently messaged them.
- Turn this off if you want only your manually selected teammates to appear.
When finished, click Save in the lower-right corner.
*Gallery
The Gallery section is only available to Essentials and Enterprise (formerly TES) customers with a Professional or Advanced Brand Page.
To manage visual content on your Brand page, click the pencil icon to the right of the Gallery section. For guided steps, refer to Manage your Brand Page Gallery.
Note: The Events sections on your brand page cannot be customized or edited.
*Essentials and Enterprise (formerly TES) customers can access the following exclusive features based on their Brand page tier and added modules.
*Subpages
Essentials and Enterprise (formerly TES) customers with an Advanced Brand page can add up to six subpages. Subpages give students an in-depth view of specific teams, departments, or programs.
Each subpage supports custom sections, giving you more flexibility to tailor the experience for different audiences.

*Posts
Essentials and Enterprise (formerly TES) customers with a Professional or Advanced Brand page can feature up to two posts on their Brand page.
Additionally, Essentials and Enterprise customers with an Advanced Brand page can feature up to two posts on each subpage.
To feature a post:
1. Navigate to the Posts tab on your Brand page, or go to your profile or a teammate's profile and click the Posts tab.
2. Click the three-dot menu in the upper-right corner of the post.
3. Check the Brand page box to feature it on your main Brand page. With an Advanced Brand Page, check the box for the relevant subpage to feature it there.
*Affiliated employers
Affiliated employers show the relationship between your brand and related companies on Handshake. Students can follow or explore affiliated brands directly from your Brand Page.
Note: This feature is only available to Enterprise (formerly TES) customers with an Advanced Brand Page. To set it up, contact your account team or Support.
- Up to six affiliated employers are displayed. If there are more than six, a More option appears to view the full list.
- To add or remove affiliates, contact Support.
- If left blank, this section will not appear on your page.
Display order
To change the display order, click the pencil icon next to the section title and use the up or down arrows.
Note: Your parent company always displays at the top.
