If you want to clean up your Handshake inbox, you can archive message threads so they no longer appear in your main Inbox. Messages cannot be permanently deleted right now, but we are tracking feedback about a delete option for the future.
Note: To archive a message, use Handshake in a desktop web browser.
Archive a message
1. Click Inbox on the left navigation menu.
2. In the list of conversations on the left, click on the message you want to archive.
3. In the upper-right corner of the open message, click the three dots menu, then select Archive.
Once a message thread is archived, it's removed from your inbox.
View archived messages
You can open archived messages at any time by selecting the Archived tab in the upper-left corner of your inbox.
Unarchive a message
If you archived a conversation by mistake or want it back in your main inbox, you can unarchive it.
- Open your inbox, then select the Archived tab in the upper-left corner.
- Choose the message thread you want to restore.
- In the upper-right corner of the open message, click the three dots menu, then select Unarchive.
Once unarchived, the conversation will appear again in your main Inbox.
