If you choose to manage on-campus interviews in Handshake's, you can customise Interview Timelines based on the the three types of schedules described below.

Timelines based on Room Only types allow a room to be reserved in Handshake, but the interview setup and slots will be managed by the employer or you outside of Handshake.
Students will be able to apply for the attached job and be connected to the interview schedule for your tracking and reporting purposes, but they will not be able to take slots in Handshake.
Open interview schedules are a static timeline that allows students who meet the specified qualifications to take slots. Qualifications are established via the preferences on the attached job posting.
- If the student's profile and primary education information meets the preferences, they are able to take a slot immediately after applying.
- Students that do not match the preferences are marked as Pending and will need to be manually updated to Primary in order to signup.
Timelines based on Preselect have a distinct application period followed by an employer review period (for employers to select Primary and Alternate applicants).
After the applicant selection, Primary candidates may begin to take slots during the Primary signup period, followed by Alternate applicants on the Alternate signup date.
