Review our best tips to improve your email deliverability and ensure that you receive emails from Handshake.
Check your spam and junk folder
Because most Handshake emails are automated, some providers may filter the messages from your inbox. Check your spam and junk folders and use the keyword search to help locate our messages.
To help prevent future emails from being marked as spam, mark the message(s) as not spam (or not junk).
Add our email addresses to your contacts
Emails from Handshake generally come from handshake@m.joinhandshake.com or handshake@notifications.joinhandshake.com, depending on the content of the email.
Add those addresses to your email client contact list to help ensure email deliverability.
ConstantContact maintains a comprehensive set of instructions online for various email clients and services. Learn how to Safelist email addresses in an email client or security program.
Delete older email messages
Email clients (e.g., Gmail, Outlook, etc.) may limit the number of emails you can receive once your inbox is full. Try deleting some old emails from your inbox to free up space to receive emails again.
Contact your IT department
Due to security measures in place, your IT department may be blocking emails from Handshake.
In this case, contact your IT and ask them to unblock Handshake and to add our domains to their list of accepted email senders. This will ensure that future emails aren't blocked. They may also be able to release blocked emails.
Details to share with IT can be found in Email Delivery: Unblocking Handshake Email.
