What "under review" means
If your account is under review after you change your email address, your request is waiting for approval from a company profile Owner or Admin.
After you change your email address, the screen will display the message: Your request to join [company name] is under review.
This is not a Trust & Safety verification review.
Why this happens
If you change your employer account email address to one that does not match your company profile email domain, you will lose access to the company profile.
After that, your request to rejoin the company profile remains pending until a company profile Owner or Admin approves it.
What to do next
Contact a company profile Owner or Admin and ask them to approve your request.
Wait for the approval email from Handshake.
Sign in again after your request is approved.
If you are unsure who the company profile Owner or Admin is, or you do not have their contact details, contact Support.
If you are the only user on the company profile
If you are the only user connected to the company profile and need access restored, contact Support.
In this case, no other company profile user is available to approve your request.
