In the past, we launched our Student Engagement Tracker, which was a successful project. Many of our partners have benefited from this resource and are now asking for an Employer Engagement Tracker. So we’re happy to announce that we will be providing that resource, right here!
For more information about the Student Engagement Tracker, visit Insights: Student Engagement Tracker & Reporting.
Questions that these reports will assist you with answering:
In which areas of Handshake do employers show up the most?
How can you increase employer job postings/applicants/fair attendance, etc.?
How can you use this information to provide students the most relevant employers in different collections?
The answers to these questions have incredible value in how they can help you understand your employers’ activities and how your students can connect with your employers.
We will continue the work that’s needed to ensure that we can provide the best tools for your team to utilize data on Handshake to its fullest potential. We appreciate the feedback that you’ve provided so far for our Student Engagement Reports, and look to create more opportunities to assess student and employer activity.
To that end, we are working to create more comprehensive tools to help you measure the ways that employers are engaging with your school on Handshake. Our vision is that we should clearly be able to provide the employers who are using Handshake, but also which of those employers have not yet interacted with your career services team by hosting an event, a career fair, posting a job or working with your students in other capacities. We want to help you clearly analyze employer engagement to understand at a granular level which employers are interacting with Handshake and how.
The first step in that process is to build out some basic tools to help with this process. The resources below are very much a starting point, but we wanted to share them with you so you can start to do some of this analysis. As always, we would love your feedback as we keep building out these resources!
