Once your kiosk has been created and configured, you're ready to launch it for use at your in-person or hybrid event.

This feature is available to Premium partners with the Events module enabled. For more information, please check out this resource.
Launch the kiosk
Click the black button Launch in the upper-right corner of the Kiosk setup tab on the event page.
A pop-up modal will appear to provide information about weak connections and offline mode. Click the black button Okay to proceed.
- We offer offline check-ins for locations that have limited or no internet connectivity.
- QR code check-ins are dependent on the student's mobile connection.
- If a student is offline, their check-ins will be logged once they regain an internet connection.
After the kiosk is launched
Students with a Handshake profile will see their basic information pre-filled.
They will be prompted to complete any additional fields configured by your team (e.g., graduation date, competencies, areas of interest).
Students without a Handshake account will be prompted to register as a guest and complete the check-in form.
Students can check in using:
A shared kiosk device (tablet or laptop)
Their own device by scanning the event’s printed QR code (if available)
