After creating an event on Handshake, you will be directed to your event page where you can view your event details, track school approval status, and access additional setup options.

Event overview tabs
Once your event is created, the event page displays the following tabs. The tabs available depend on your account type:
- All employers: Overview, Candidates
- Pro, Essentials, and Enterprise employers only: Schools, Mobile app setup, Kiosk setup, Communications
Overview
Displays your event activity (RSVPs and check-ins), an option to connect jobs to the event, the event description, and comments and activity. For more information, visit Connecting Your Jobs to Your Events.
Candidates
Lists all candidates who have RSVP'd or checked in to your event. Learn more about Accessing Event and Fair RSVPs.
*Schools
Shows all schools invited to promote the event, along with their approval status.
*Mobile app setup
Available to Pro employers and Essentials and Enterprise customers with the Events module enabled. Invite recruiters to use Handshake's Events app on their mobile devices to access RSVPs and submit evaluations.

*Kiosk setup
Available to Essentials and Enterprise customers with the Events module enabled. Set up a check-in kiosk for in-person and virtual events. Read more about Creating a Check-in Kiosk
*Communications
Available to Pro employers and Essentials and Enterprise customers with the Events module enabled. Add a personalized note to the automated RSVP confirmation email sent to students upon registration.

Event approval
Once your event is submitted, it will be sent to the hosting school or to the schools invited to promote the event.
After your event is reviewed and approved by the school, you will receive an email notification confirming that the event has been approved. The email will read:

Instructions: Now that you're approved, we recommend inviting students to your event!"
To invite students to your event after approval, visit Invite Students to an Event or Fair.
Student reminder notifications
After a student RSVPs to your event, Handshake automatically sends reminder emails at the following intervals:
- 1 day before the event
- 4 hours or less before the event
Reminders are only delivered to students who have event reminder notifications enabled on their Handshake profile.
