You can create and save your kiosk question sets as templates, making it easy to reuse them across multiple events, saving both time and effort.
To reuse an existing check-in template for an event or fair, refer to Reusing Check-in Kiosk Templates.
This feature is available to Premium partners with the Handshake Events module enabled. For more information, please check out this resource.
1. Navigate to the event or fair you want to create a check-in kiosk template for, then click the Kiosk setup tab.
- If you do not have any templates, the message "You do not have any templates yet. When you create a kiosk and save it as a template you will be able to see them here." displays on the page.
2. In the Set up a check-in kiosk section, click the black button Create kiosk in the upper-right corner of the page.
- To reuse an existing template, refer to Reusing Check-in Kiosk Templates.
3. Select the information you want to collect from students, then click the black button Save. For additional details on each section, refer to Create and Launch a Check-in Kiosk.
4. Click the ellipsis icon in the upper-right corner of the page, then select Make it a template from the dropdown.
Note: the "Launch" button is displayed on the page if the event or fair is held in person.
5. In the pop-up modal, enter the name of the template so that you can reuse the questions from this kiosk at any time, then click the black button Create template.
6. Once created, the message "Template created successfully" appears in the lower-center of the page. You can now use this event template for any event or fair that you host or register for.
