Easily reuse check-in kiosk templates created by you or anyone in your organization, saving time on setup for every event.
To create a new check-in kiosk template, refer to Creating Check-in Kiosk Templates.
This feature is available to Premium partners with the Handshake Events module enabled. For more information, please check out this resource.
1. Navigate to the event or fair you want to use an existing template for, then click the Kiosk setup tab.
2. Select which template you want to reuse, then click the ellipsis icon to the right of the template card, and select Preview template from the dropdown.
3. Preview the template, then click the black button Use template in the upper-right corner of the page.
4. Once the template is selected, the message "Kiosk check-in setup done successfully" displays in a black banner in the lower-center of the page.
5. Once the template is selected to be used, the options displayed vary based on the event medium.
- On-campus and off-campus: The Launch displays button in the upper-right corner. To launch the check-in kiosk, refer to the steps outlined in Create and Launch a Check-in Kiosk.

Virtual: Whether using Handshake video session or an external video platform, you can manage or deactivate the check-in kiosk. For more details, refer to Managing Check-in Kiosk Templates.
- Note: the Launch button is not visible for virtual events. However, the check-in kiosk will automatically launch on the event day, allowing students to check in seamlessly.
