Hide a Job on Handshake

To enhance your job search experience, you can hide jobs that aren't relevant to you or that you're not interested in.

The "Hide Job" feature allows you to remove specific job postings from your search results, helping to make future listings more relevant to your preferences.

This feature gives you greater control over your job search, allowing you to tailor it to your career goals!

Currently, this feature is only available on Handshake's web platform, not the mobile app

Hide a job

1. Click Jobs on the left menu.

2. From the list displayed on the left side of the page, click the X icon, located to the right of the job you want to hide.

💡Note: to keep the process simple and quick, we do not ask why you chose to hide a job.

🚀Tip: if you think you'll want to access the job again, we recommend saving the job first. All jobs that you have saved can still be viewed through your saved jobs, even if you have chosen to hide the job. To learn more about saving jobs, check out My Saved Jobs in Handshake.

 

Unhide a job

If you choose to unhide a job, you'll have a short time frame to undo the action.

After hiding a job, a banner is displayed above the job—click the blue link Undo, located within the banner to restore the job.
