When launching a new check-in kiosk from the Appointments Overview page, you'll see the last option allows for an "Appointment-Only Kiosk". This will display only the appointments for your career centre, and no other events, fairs, or on-campus interviews that may be occurring simultaneously.
New Check-In Views
When students enter their email into the check-in kiosk, they will be presented with a new view which will display different options to select, depending on the type of kiosk launched.
For example, a general kiosk might display appointments, events, fairs, and on-campus interviews if the student is eligible for all of them; whereas, an appointments-only kiosk would only allow the student to check-in for appointments, even if they were eligible for other active events, fairs, or interviews.
Drop-In Appointments
If a student is checking in for a drop-in appointment, they will no longer see "drop-in" from the list of options to select. Instead, they will see a list of Appointment Categories to choose from, which will then allow students to select from appointment types with the drop-in option enabled on the next page.
Here's an example of what the new check-in process could look like for appointment categories and drop-in appointment types could look like:
Offline Mode
If you happen to lose access to the internet while your check-in kiosk is launched, the kiosk will continue to function in Offline Mode. You will know that Offline Mode is active via a grey banner message at the top-middle of the kiosk page that says "Working in offline mode".
