Message templates on Handshake enhance your team’s communication efficiency and ensure consistent outreach.
Whether you're composing individual or bulk messages to students, or creating campaigns, you can streamline your messaging by selecting templates created by yourself or your teammates.

Individual or bulk messages
1. In the message composer, click the text Add template above the message box.
2. In the pop-up modal, select the template you want to use, then click the blue button Insert template.
Tip: to quickly locate the message template, enter the template's name in the keyword search.
3. Once added, the template will appear in the message box. Review and refine your message before sending.
Campaigns
Job campaign (form)
On the Message page of the job campaign form, click the blue hyperlinked text Use template above the message box.
Event, fair, or 'other' type of campaign (form)
On the Message page of an event, fair, or 'other' type of campaign form, click the blue hyperlinked text Insert Template above the message box.
2. In the pop-up modal, select a template to preview and use.

- In the job campaign form, choose from your own templates or your team's templates, then click the black button Use template.

In the event, fair, or 'other' type of campaign form, choose from your own templates or your team's templates, then click the green button Add.
3. Once added, the template will appear in the message box. Review and refine your message before sending.
