To recruit on Handshake, your company must connect with schools where you would like to hire students and alumni.
This article explains how employers can request connections with schools.
Ways to connect with schools
You can connect with schools in two ways:
Post a job
When you post a job and select schools to share it with, a connection request is automatically sent to those schools. Learn How to Post a Job.Request to join a school’s network
If you don’t have a job to post yet, you can send a connection request directly to schools you’re interested in recruiting from. Learn more about How to Request Approval from Schools.
Note: You can search for and register for career fairs without being connected to a school or posting a job.
After you send a request
Once you’ve submitted a request, the school will review it based on its recruiting policies and standards.
Each school individually decides whether to approve or decline your request.
Review times vary, but most schools respond within a few business days.
