Access the Schools page
Click Schools from the left navigation bar in Handshake.
The Schools page layout depends on your employer account type.
Basic, Plus and Pro employers
Basic employers have a single page view that displays all schools partnered with Handshake.
*Premium partners (Essentials, Enterprise)
Essentials and Enterprise customers have three tabs at the top of the Schools page:
Schools
Lists
Explorer
Understanding the Schools page
The Schools page displays:
All schools partnered with Handshake and your connection status with each school.
Schools you have added to your Favorites list.
Schools where your company has not yet requested approval or posted a job.
Schools where a connection request or job posting is pending approval.
Schools that have declined your job posting or company approval.
Note: For Essentials and Enterprise customers, the Schools page is displayed as a tab.
Filters
The Schools page includes a set of filters you can use to narrow the list of schools.
Available to all employers
Keyword search
My network: Displays only the schools your employer is approved by.
Favorites: For Basic, Pro and Plus employers, displays the schools you have added to your Favorites. For Premium partners, Favorites are included within the Lists filter.
School type: Career center partner
Status: Approved, Pending, Not connected, Declined
Permissions to post: Jobs, interview schedules, events, cooperative education jobs
Location
Community & Technical Colleges
Ranking: National, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts
Size
Region: Midwest, Northeast, South, West

Lists: Displays the schools your employer has added to Favorites, along with any custom school lists created by you or your connected teammates.
