The Insights dashboard is a self-serve dashboard that helps you understand how your team’s activity and impact on Handshake.
Use it to track funnel performance, explore engagement by channel, and evaluate which schools are driving the strongest results.
Owners and Admins have default access. To grant access to additional team members (Recruiter Advanced or Sourcer seats), refer to How to Configure Role Level Permissions.
The Insights dashboard is available to customers who have the Insights module and replaces the biannual PDFs that were previously provided in the Analytics tab. If you are not sure whether your account includes this module, contact your account team.
Access the Insights dashboard
- Click Insights from the left navigation bar.
- You will land on the Insights dashboard.
Use dashboard filters
Use the filters at the top of the dashboard to adjust all metrics at once. Any filter you apply will update every section of the dashboard.
Available filters include:
- Date range
- School
- Major
- School year (e.g., senior)
- Graduation year (e.g., 2026)
Example: Filter for a specific time period (such as August 2025 and beyond) to review seasonal trends or performance over a campaign window.
Dashboard sections
The Insights dashboard is currently organized into three main sections:
- Executive Overview
- Channel Insights
- School Insights
Use the navigation buttons on the landing page to jump to each section.
Note: We do not currently support downloading the dashboard.
