Your school may choose to highlight certain employers based on attributes and strengths that are unique and valuable to your school.
These employers are thoughtfully selected and added to one or more of the following collections in Handshake:
- Close to campus - Employers near your school.
- Great for internships - Employers with stand-out internship programs.
- Popular with alumni- Employers where fellow alumni are working or hiring.
- Invests in diversity - Employers with diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
- Creates social impact - Employers who champion positive social impact, like non-profits and environmental organizations.
- Great for your <major group>- Employers who are a great fit for students studying a specific major.
- Hires international students - Employers who source international talent.
- Hidden gems - Lesser-known employers with great jobs.
- Great for <college>- Employers who are a great fit for specific colleges.
- Hires from our school- Employers who consistently hire <School> students.
Click on the expandable headers below to learn more about exploring, searching, and identifying curated collections at your school!
Explore Employer Collections
If you'd like to explore employers that your school has chosen to highlight via one or more of the curated collections, you can do so via:
- Desktop
- Mobile app
Desktop
Click Career Center on the left navigation menu.
Locate the Employer collections section, then click on a collection of interest or the blue link View all collections to explore all!
All employers will be listed on the page below the selected collection. To view other collections, click on the name of the collection on the left side of the page.
Click on the employer's name to review their Handshake profile, or click the button Follow, to stay updated on any recent activity regarding the employer.

Mobile app
Tap on your icon in the upper-right corner of the screen, then tap Career Center.
Tap Employer Collections from the list, then tap View collections to choose a collection of interest via the dropdown options. All employers within that collection will be listed on the screen!
Tap on the employer's name to review their Handshake profile, or tap the button Follow, to stay updated on any recent activity regarding the employer.

Search Jobs By Employer Collections
If you're interested in exploring jobs or internships curated by your school, you can filter on the desired collection within your job search!
Desktop
There's two ways to access the Employer collections at your school via the Jobs page. Click Jobs on the left navigation menu, then click:
- the white button [SCHOOL] collections, located to the right of the search bar. Check the boxes for the collections you're interested in, then click the blue button Show Results.
- the white button All filters, located at the far right of the header bar. Within the pop-up, scroll down to locate the [SCHOOL] collections section and check the boxes for the collections you're interested in, then click the blue button Show Results.
All jobs that include at least one of the chosen collections will be listed on the left side of the page.
Mobile app
Tap Jobs, located in the bottom left of the screen, then tap the blue button Filters.
Within the pop-up, scroll to the bottom of the screen to locate the Employer collections section, and tap the box for the collections you're interested in, then click the blue button Show Results.
All jobs that include at least one of the chosen collections will be listed on the screen.

Identify Jobs And Employers Within A Curated Collection
Curated collections at your school can be identified by a gray badge — these badges are located on both job postings and employer profiles in Handshake.
- Job postings - badges are located below the "About the Role" section in a box specifically for collections at your school.
- Employer's profile - badges are located in the "About" section.
Note: up to two badges may be displayed at a time.
Click on the badge to explore other employers included within the curated collection.
