At Handshake, we are dedicated to building an accessible product for all users, ensuring that our platform is inclusive and meets the diverse needs of our community. Our commitment to accessibility is unwavering, and we strive to adhere to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 A and AA standards for our student-facing products.
Collaboration with Experts
To fulfill our accessibility objectives, Handshake has partnered with Level Access, a leading accessibility consulting firm. Together, we have developed a comprehensive plan aimed at enhancing accessibility across our entire product. This plan was initiated with a thorough audit of our product in 2020 and continues with consistent improvements integrated into our development and quality assurance processes.
Ongoing Accessibility Commitment
With each new feature release, Handshake works to achieve full compliance with accessibility standards. This includes all updates related to our virtual event offerings, ensuring that they are accessible to all users.
