Connect your job postings to your fair registrations in Handshake to increase visibility and encourages engagement from qualified student candidates.
You can only connect jobs to a fair after submitting your registration for that specific career fair. If you have not registered yet, start by registering for the fair first. Learn more about Registering for a Fair (Employers).
Access your fair registration
Click Fairs in the left navigation bar.
Select the fair whose registration you want to connect a job to.
Tip: On the Fair page, check the box labeled Show Registered Only. This filters the list to display all upcoming fairs your company is registered for, including any pending school approval.
Connect a job to your fair registration
1. Click the Jobs tab on the career fair page.
2. Click the white Add job button in the middle of the page, or in the upper-right corner.
3. In the pop-up modal, choose the job you want to connect from the dropdown, then click the black Done button.
Note: Only approved jobs can be added to a fair. If you cannot find a job, it may still be awaiting school approval.
- If you haven’t created the job yet, click the white Create a job button in the pop-up.
Connect jobs to multiple fair registrations
If you have multiple divisions registered for the same fair, use the registration dropdown to choose the division you want to connect a job to, then click the white Add job button.
Note: Jobs must be added to each registration individually.
Remove a job from your fair registration
1. Click the More options menu (the three dots) to the right of the job, then select Remove job from the fair.
2. In the pop-up modal, click the red Yes, remove button to confirm.
Note: Removing a job from a fair hides it from that fair’s participants, but the job itself remains active on Handshake. Students, including fair participants, can still find and apply to it.
