Handshake provides students with a unique opportunity to connect with employers through virtual career fair sessions.
To sign up for a virtual career fair and employer sessions, refer to Signing Up for & Managing Virtual Fair Sessions.
Access your schedule
On the day of the fair, you can access your schedule in Handshake via your registered events.
- Click on Events in the left navigation menu.
- Then click the button Registered, located in the upper-right corner.
In the side panel that appears, all career fairs you're registered at with the sessions you signed up for are displayed.
- To view your schedule from the Career Fair details page, click on the name of the fair then click on the tab Your schedule.
- To join a session directly, click on the session name.
Join your session
You can join your session from either the side panel or your schedule. Both options will allow you to join your session easily!
- If you accessed your session from the side panel: Click the blue button Join Video located in the lower-left corner of the pop-up.
- If you accessed your session from your schedule: All of your registered sessions will appear in order of when they occur, with the upcoming session at the top and past sessions listed below. To join your session, click the blue button Join Video button.
