Transactional emails support student sign-in and account security in Handshake. They are sent directly in response to specific actions a student takes, such as setting or resetting their password.
These emails:
-
Are triggered immediately by student activity on the Handshake platform.
-
Are sent from m.joinhandshake.com.
-
Go to the student’s primary email address on their Handshake account (the address where they receive emails from Handshake and Targeted Emails from your team).
Transactional emails are system messages and are separate from optional notification or marketing-style emails.
